Les étranges habitants d’Halloween-Ville, au premier rang desquels le roi des citrouilles, Jack Skellington, célèbrent, avec toujours beaucoup d’entrain, la fête éponyme de leur cité. Pourtant, après les cérémonies, Jack, las, s’isole et part se promener. Au détour d’un chemin , il tombe sur Noël-Ville, ses couleurs chatoyantes, ses millions de jouets et sa population chaleureuse. Fasciné, il n’a plus, dés lors, qu’une seule obsession : s’approprier Noël et ses fastes…

A little gem of stop-motion animation, brimming with grace, poetry, and lyricism, is the work of the brilliant Tim Burton. The strange inhabitants of Halloween Town, foremost among them the Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, celebrate their city’s eponymous festival with their usual boundless enthusiasm. Yet, after the festivities, Jack, weary, isolates himself and goes for a walk. Around a bend in the path, he stumbles upon Christmas Town, with its shimmering colors, millions of toys, and warm-hearted inhabitants. Fascinated, he has only one obsession from then on: to appropriate Christmas and its splendor…
